Owatonna, Minn. – Seniors Sarah Russell and Eryn Koch took an easy 8-1 decision and first doubles and both won their singles matches as the Carleton College women's tennis team moved its winning streak to five matches, dispatching of the University of St. Thomas, 7-2.

The Knights (5-0, 4-0 MIAC) took two of the three doubles matches. Russell and Koch posted an easy 8-1 victory and Abby Beggs and Christina Walker posted an 8-5 decision from the third slot.

Singles action waas highlighted by Russell's 6-4, 6-0 win at first singles and Koch's three-set triumph at third singles. Beggs and Walker posted straight-set victories at second and fourth singles, respectively.

The Knights are back in action on Saturday, Feb. 25, hosting the College of St. Catherine at 12 noon at the Owatonna Tennis Center. It is Carleton's final competition before taking a hiatus prior to its spring break trip to South Carolina.
