Hilton Head, S.C. - The Carleton women’s tennis team opened their spring break trip with a dominating win over Division II foe University of Missouri, St. Louis, 9-0.
Captain Diane Danforth returned from her off-campus program with convincing wins in both singles and doubles. Carleton took three decisive victories in the doubles matches and won five of the six singles matches in straight sets. First-year players Abby Beggs, Christina Walker, and Golnaz Vayghan continue their consistent play in singles, as the trio has won a combined 20 out of their 21 last matches.
