Burnsville, Minn. – Carleton College swept all six singles matches en route to a convincing 8-1 victory over Bethel College on Friday night.

The Knights (3-1, 2-0 MIAC) dropped only 11 total games at the second through fifth slots in singles play after posting a 2-1 mark in doubles action. Christina Walker and Golnaz Vayghan tallied the most impressive wins of the evening, as each dispatched of her opponent 6-1, 6-0. Genevieve Philp pulled out the closes singles match, winning a second-set tiebreak, 6-4, 7-6 (7-3).

In doubles, Sarah Fischer and Eryn Koch were 8-6 winners at the second spot and Vayghan and Walker tallied a similar 8-6 victory at third doubles.
