Hilton Head Island, S.C. -- The Carleton College women's tennis team opened its spring break schedule in fine fashion, sweeping the College of Wooster 9-0.

Enjoying their first outdoor tennis experience in months, the Knights (7-0) dropped only two games in doubles play.

The high-rise apartments surrounding the courts inspired the women in singles as well. Junior Shelley Getzendanner rushed and crushed her way to a 6-0, 6-0 victory at five singles. Abby Beggs scored an equally impressive win at second singles.
