Burnsville, Minn. -- The Carleton College women's tennis dropped only 16 games over six singles matches and swept past another MIAC opponent, beating Concordia-Moorhead 9-0.

The Knights (2-0, 2-0 MIAC), ranked 15th in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association central region rankings, swept through the doubles matches, highlighted by Shelley Getzendanner and Lisa Ottum's 8-0 win from the second slot.

The Cobbers (0-2, 0-2 MIAC) couldn't slow Carleton's momentum in singles play, as the Knights took all six matches in straight sets. Eryn Koch grabbed a 6-0, 6-0 win at third singles and Ottum was a 6-1, 6-0 victor at the sixth spot.

Carleton returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 17, facing Northfield rival St. Olaf College at the Owatonna Tennis Center.
