NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Carleton College women’s tennis team ran its win streak to seven matches with a 6-3 victory over visiting Augustana College on Sunday morning.

Kristina Conrad (So./Plymouth, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong) continued her amazing run of success in 2017, improving to 10-0 in doubles and 14-1 in singles action. She teamed with Alana Danieu (Jr./East Aurora, N.Y./East Aurora) for a convincing 8-0 triumph at No. 2 doubles and then added a 6-2, 7-6 victory at No. 4 singles. Meanwhile, Danieu moved to 9-2 in singles this year with her 6-0, 6-1 triumph at No. 6 singles.

Madeline Prins (Fy./Pacific Palisades, Calif./Palisades Charter) also won in both singles and doubles once again, pairing with Caitlin Eichten (Sr./Plymouth, Minn./Wayzata) for an 8-2 win in doubles before notching a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 5 singles.

The other Carleton team point came from Zoe Park (Fy./Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest), who tallied a 6-3, 6-0 result at No. 2 singles.

UP NEXT FOR THE KNIGHTS: The Knights close the regular-season with conference matches versus Macalester on April 29 and St. Thomas on April 30.
