MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- Zoe Park (Fy./Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest), Iman Qureshi (Fy./Lahore, Pakistan/Lahore Grammar School), Caitlin Shea (Sr./Joliet, Ill./Joliet Township West), and Danielle Vasiliev (Jr./Lincolnshire, Ill./Stevenson) each won at both in both singles and doubles as the Carleton College women’s tennis team defeated St. Catherine University, 9-0, on Saturday afternoon.

Vasiliev cruised to a 6-2, 6-3 win at first singles then joined with Shea on a convincing 8-2 triumph at first singles. Shea added a 6-0, 6-1 result at fourth singles.

Rookies Park and Qureshi both improved to 5-0 versus Division III opponents on 2017. Qureshi prevailed 6-2, 6-1 at the second slot and paired with Madeline Prins (Fy./Pacific Palisades, Calif./Palisades Charter) for an 8-4 result at second doubles. Meanwhile, Park notched her second consecutive 6-0, 6-0 win at third singles. She teamed with Kristina Conrad (So./Plymouth, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong) for an 8-1 victory at third doubles.

Alana Danieu (Jr./East Aurora, N.Y./East Aurora) and Caitlin Eichten (Sr./Plymouth, Minn./Wayzata) picked up the other singles decisions at the fifth and sixth slots, respectively, by scores of 7-5, 7-5 and 6-4, 6-3.

The Knights will be back in action on Sunday, March 5 as they host Bethel University for a 3:30 p.m. match at Lifetime Fitness in Lakeville, Minn.
