Knights finish seventh at MIAC Championships, Lee and Yuan earn All-Championship Team distinction

EDINA, Minn. — The Carleton women's golf team finished seventh following the final round of the 2026 MIAC Championships on Sunday, carding a 319 (+31) at Braemar Golf Course to post a three-day tournament total of 945 (307-319-319). Junior Anna Lee and first-year Cindy Yuan both earned All-Championship Team honors by finishing tied for sixth and eighth, respectively.

St. Catherine University captured the conference title with a cumulative score of 882 (+18), finishing well ahead of co-runners-up Gustavus Adolphus College and Macalester College, who tied for second at 920 (+56). St. Catherine's Caylin Cantwell took home medalist honors at 210 (-6).

Lee posted a final-round 82 (+10) to finish tied for sixth place overall with a 54-hole score of 224 (+8, 69-73-82). The Vernon Hills, Ill., native rode strong rounds on the first two days of competition to the tie for sixth. Lee went out in 40 and came in with a 42 on the back nine to post her 82 and make her first career appearance on the MIAC All-Championship Team.

Yuan finished right behind Lee in eighth place alone, turning in a team-best 78 (+6) on Sunday to wrap up her tournament debut at 226 (+10, 71-77-78). The Danville, Calif., native carded an even-par 36 after a stretch of three birdies in five holes on the front nine. A six-over 42 on the back nine brought Yuan home with a 78 and an eighth-place finish in her debut appearance at the MIAC Championships.

First-year Angela Yu carded a final-round 78 (+6) to bounce back into a tie for 29th place with a tournament mark of 244 (+28, 81-85-78). Yu's performance on Sunday ties her best collegiate round to this point and came on the back of a four-birdie effort. The Scarsdale, N.Y., native carded three birdies on the front nine to open her round with an even-par 36 before coming in with a six-over 42.

Yu's classmate Sarah Han recorded an 81 (+9) to finish in a tie for 37th place overall at 251 (+35, 86-84-81). It was her second-lowest round of her young collegiate career and will provide momentum going into the mid-season break. Senior Charlotte Darras also competed on Sunday, closing out the tournament with a 98 (+26) to place 45th.
