NORTHFIELD, Minn. — The Carleton College women's swimming & diving team won 12 races and the diving competition as the Knights rolled to a convincing 205.5-92.5 victory over St. Olaf on Saturday. Stephanie Baranov, Emma Yao, and Julia Michalski were each double winners for the Knights.
 
Carleton opened the meet with a win in the 200-yard medley relay as the "A" team of Grace Hou, Yao, Zoe Morton and Michalski touched first in 1:49.05. All four would go on to later claim individual triumphs.
 
Stephanie Baranov followed with a victory in the 1,000-yard freestyle, clocking 11:12.27, while Bryn Ashland edged the field in the 200 freestyle in a season-best 2:04.90. Yao's first triumph came in the 50-yard breaststroke as the touched the wall at 30.09.
 
Olivia Stankiewicz-Goldsmith captured the 100-yard butterfly for the Knights in 1:03.72, and Michalski sprinted to the win in the 50 freestyle in 25.15. Carleton continued to pile up points as Morton took the 100 freestyle in 55.34 and Hou claimed the 100 backstroke in 1:00.61. Yao added another individual victory in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:06.37.
 
Baranov doubled up her freestyle success by winning the 500 freestyle in 5:28.59, and Michalski capped her strong day with a win in the 100 individual medley in 1:00.19. The Knights closed the meet in style as the 200-yard freestyle relay team of Daya Tucker, Morton, Maya Geddes and Baranov won in 1:40.88.
 
In diving, Nina Schwab won the 1-meter diving competition in record-breaking fashion... actually two records-breaking fashion. Schwab posted a six-dive score of 326.10, which smashed her own team record by nearly 35 points. Her 11-dive score of 525.35 broke her own team record by nearly 50 points.
