BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Carleton College quarterback
Jack Curtis collected his second consecutive and fourth career MIAC Offensive Player of the Week honor.
Curtis broke the Carleton record for career passing yards while helping the Knights reclaim the famed Goat Trophy with a 35-28 win over rival St. Olaf. He finished the victory 29-of-42 for 396 yards and three touchdown passes in addition to 36 rushing yards. Curtis now has 6,555 passing yards in his time donning the maize and blue, ranking sixth among active NCAA Division III quarterbacks and surpassing the previous Carleton standard of 6,241 yards established by Jonathan Singleton in 2022.
Curtis' performance against the Oles pushed him closer to breaking two other Carleton records currently held by Singleton. Curtis now has 64 career passing touchdowns and 624 career completions, leaving him one TD toss and eight completions away from matching Singleton for the top spot in team annals.
The Knights travel to Gustavus Adolphus College for a 1:00 p.m. kickoff on Saturday, Oct. 4
