NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Carleton College men's cross country team finished sixth out of 22 teams at the St. Olaf Invitational. Roy Llewellyn was the Knights' top finisher, placing 15th with a time of 26:07.5.
 
Ryan Bernstein was next to finish by posting a time of 27:23.2, good for 56th on the eight-kilometer course. First-year Travis Brown finished in 61st place at 27:31.1, while classmate Torte Torstenson finished 70th with a time of 27:43.3.
 
Senior Josh Meier crossed the line at 27:59.7, good for 81st place in the 299-runner field. Newcomer Ravi Achar placed 83rd at 28:01.7, giving the Knights three rookies among the squad's top six finishers.
 
Meet host St. Olaf won the team competition with 38 points, followed by UW-Eau Claire (52 points) and UW-Stout (71). Saint John's University was fourth at 134 points, with University of Manitoba (191) and Carleton (224) next on the leaderboard.
