GREENSBORO, N.C. – Carleton College first-year Hailey Westrup concluded her time at the 2024 NCAA Division III Championships by placing 19th in the 3-meter diving competition.
 
She totaled 388.45 points on her 11 dives.
 
Her highest scoring dive was a 105B (Forward 2 1/2 Somersault Pike) that netted her 44.40 points. She was 23rd after the eighth round but scored 41.85 points with her toughest dive of the meet, the 405C (Inward 2 1/2 Somersault Tuck -- 2.7 degree of difficulty). That moved Westrup into 20th place, a slot she maintained until scoring 40.80 points on her final dive,
5233D (Back 1 1/2 Somersault 1 1/2 Twist Free).
 
This was the Westrup's first trip to Nationals. She also competed on the 1-meter board, finishing 18th on Thursday.
