Knights finish 7th at Rochester Invite

ROCHESTER, Minn. -- The Carleton College women's swimming & diving team turned in numerous top-20 results during the three-day Rochester Invite. The Knights finished seventh out of the 10 teams.

The squads competing at this year's meet included four NCAA D-II programs: No. 18 Augustana University, No. 21 St. Cloud State University, No. 26 Minnesota State-Mankato, and MSU-Moorhead. The four D-III squads include No. 24 UW-Eau Claire, regionally-ranked UW-La Crosse, Carleton, and College of Saint Benedict. Iowa Central College is also competing, while St. Olaf took part in the diving portion of the meet.

THURSDAY
Nina Schwab won the 3-meter diving competition. She posted the top score of 448.75 during the 33-diver prelims, then had a score of 432.70 in the finals. Hailey Westrup earned fourth place in the finals at 402.30.

FRIDAY

Morton, Tucker, Yao, and Baranov took 16th in the 200-yard freestyle relay, combining on a time of 1:40.57.
