INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
North Carolina State University, UNC at Chapel Hill, and UMass Dartmouth. At NCSU, I researched the impact of a high fructose diet on the liver and its role in metabolic diseases. At UNC Chapel Hill, I looked at continuous glucose monitors in older type 1 diabetic patients and their effectiveness. I also worked in an organic chemistry lab at UMass Dartmouth.
