NORTHFIELD, Minn. – After losing the completion of a rain-interrupted game earlier on the day, the Carleton College baseball team dropped a non-conference contest to Hamline University, 7-0.
The day began with the Knights leading the Pipers 4-3 in the middle of the fifth inning of a game halted due to rain on Friday. When play resumed on Monday, it was all Hamline the rest of the way as the visitors scored seven times (only two earned runs) in the sixth inning and twice more in the ninth to secure the 12-4 win. (
