NORTHFIELD, Minn. –
Isabelle Henry (So./Prior Lake, Minn./Academy of Holy Angels) converted a layup with 0.3 seconds remaining to lift Carleton College women's basketball to its seventh consecutive victory, this one a 54-52 win over visiting Saint Mary's University.

On a night when Carleton's (12-12, 11-10 MIAC) top three scorers on the season finished a combined 5-for-26 from the field,

Emma Henry (So./Prior Lake, Minn./Academy of Holy Angels) picked up the slack with 10 points apiece.
Saint Mary's (8-16, 7-14 MIAC) led the back an fourth game by as many as nine points in the fourth quarter and still owned a 46-39 advantage with 4:45 remaining. The Knights went on a 13-4 run and took a 52-50 lead with 11 seconds left.
Carleton nearly came up with a steal on the next Saint Mary's possession, but Brooklyn Paulson, the MIAC's leading scorer, picked up the loose ball and converted a game-tying layup with four seconds remaining, tying the game at 52-52.
The Knights took a timeout to advance the ball to the front court, and on the ensuing possession,
Isabelle Henry took the inbound pass and drove baseline before cutting back to the middle of the lane for the game-winning points with less than a second remaining.
Paulson was the only Cardinal in double figures and scored 15 of her game-high 22 points in the second half.
Jasmine Choi (So./Maple Grove, Minn./Osseo) paced Carleton with 14 points and 10 rebounds for her third career double-double. She also snagged a career-best seven steals.
Carleton was outscored by a combined 33-14 margin during the first and third quarters but flipped the script by outscoring the Cardinals by a combined 40-19 margin during the second and fourth quarters.
Carleton shot 34 percent in the game but connected at a 75 percent rate in the fourth quarter. Saint Mary's shot 39 percent overall, but committed 19 turnovers.
Up Next for the Knights
Carleton will travel to Bethel University for the regular-season finale at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 16. Both teams will enter that game riding 7-game win streaks. The Knights will then return home for the first round of the MIAC Playoffs, as Carleton will host either Macalester, St. Olaf, St. Catherine, or St. Scholastica at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19.
