Box Score DULUTH, Minn. – The Carleton College men's tennis team wrapped up the fall portion of its competition scheduled with an 8-1 victory over College of St. Scholastica. Sophomores
Tarm Rojanasoonthon (Bangkok, Thailand/Chulalongkorn) and
Tate Fuller (Seattle, Wash./Lakeside) along with rookie
Zach Leslie (Fy./Minneapolis, Minn./Washburn) prevailed during both singles and doubles play.
Rojanasoonthon and Fuller picked up an 8-4 victory at No. 1 doubles, while
Aniketh Vipparla (Jr./Cary, N.C./Green Hope) and
Noah Mueller (Sr./Dubai, UAE/German International School Dubai) won by the same score at No. 3 doubles. Leslie and
Ozzie Viswanathan (Sr./Lincolnshire, Ill./Adlai E. Stevenson) proved victorious at No. 2 doubles by an 8-2 tally.
Upon moving to singles, the Knights (2-0) captured five of the contests in straight sets. Rojanasoonthon registered a 6-4, 6-2 result atop the lineup, while Fuller earned a 6-0, 6-2 triumph at the second slot. Leslie won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.
Will Stepanski (Sr./Villa Park, Calif./Villa Park) and
Jack Rivkin (Fy./Wilmette, Ill./New Trier) added victories at No. 5 and No. 6 singles, respectively. The former won by a 6-2, 6-1 score, while the latter posted a 6-1, 6-3 ledger.
The Saints' lone team point came at No. 4 singles Riley Versich was credited with the victory after Mueller retired due to injury.
