Marco da Cunha (So./San Francisco, Calif./San Francisco University) gave the Carleton College men's soccer team a first-half lead, but the Knights were unable to maintain the advantage and ultimately lost in overtime, 2-1, to host North Central College.

The Knights (2-1-0) notched the game's first score in the 33rd minute when da Cunha tallied his second goal of the year.
Brennan Johnson (Jr./Portland, Ore./Grant) was credited with his fifth assist of the campaign, tops among MIAC players.

North Central (3-1-0) found the equalizer in the 57th minute and but was unable to put another shot on goal until the closing minutes of regulation. The Cardinals took advantage of a free kick opportunity in the 94th minute when Elijah Larson headed home Austin Lombardi's service into the box.

Aaron Forman (Jr./Los Angeles, Calif./Windward School) saw his shutout streak snapped but registered three saves.
