The Oles jumped to a 23-0 lead behind a John Davis interception return, two Jason Wilsey touchdown passes, and a field goal. The Knights made the game closer just before halftime, as Darren Caspers (Jr./Bemidji, Minn.) connected with Frank for a 20-yard touchdown.
Wade Thompson (Jr./Peterson, Minn./Rushford-Peterson) ran in from seven yards out to make the score 30-14 with 5:12 to go in the game, but that is the closest that the Knights would get, as the Oles scored twice more, including another Davis interception return for a touchdown.
