Decorah, Iowa -- Clare O'Connor (So./Madison, Wis./Memorial) scored in the 61st minute as Carleton posted its first result of the season, earning a 1-1 draw with host Luther College (Iowa).

The Knights held a 23-12 edge in shots and put 14 shots on goal, but couldn't get the game winner after Luther scored in the 69th minute. O'Connor's goal, her first of the season, came in the 61st minute.

The Knights (0-1-1) held a 5-1 edge in shots in the two overtimes, but none of the five shots were on goal.

Carleton returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 14, traveling to St. Peter, Minn., to face Gustavus Adolphus College at 4 p.m. Carleton's home opener is slated for Wednesday, Sept. 21 against Simpson College (Iowa).
