POST-CARLETON GOAL(S)…
Genuinely being happy with whatever I am up to
I CHOSE TO COME TO CARLETON BECAUSE…
I chose Carleton to get out of my comfort zone academically as well as athletically. Ultimately, I wanted to grow as a person and felt Carleton was the place that would most help me do that.
WHAT I MOST LIKE ABOUT CARLETON IS…
I enjoy talking to professors in office hours, being close to downtown, and the kind, lovely people I have gotten to meet over the years on and off the team.
OFF-CAMPUS STUDY OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
Denmark Institute of Study Abroad (DIS - Copenhagen). Taking a season off of competition helped me to refresh my love of running by exploring new spots around the world. When I returned to campus I had a new appreciation for seeing my teammates everyday at practice!
INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
At UW Stout, I did research on water policy surrounding nitrate levels in private wells in Dunn County, Wisconsin. I got to learn what political science and environmental studies research is all about, as well as how interdisciplinary it is!

Drawing, reading, backpacking, guitar, rock climbing, baking soup and bread, eating Culver’s.
