INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
Research Foundation of CUNY - I was a research assistant and data analyst for a Food Insecurity Qualitative Project. I transcribed narratives from previous Food Insecurity studies that were produced by students attending CUNY colleges and used Atlas.ti, a coding software, to analyze them. By analyzing these narratives, we discovered common difficulties and experiences these college students faced in regards to their experiences with campus food and related campus food programs.
 
MY INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES ENHANCED MY EXPERIENCE AS A CARLETON STUDENT-ATHLETE BECAUSE…
I learned a new coding software, which can be useful for future psychology courses. This experience also improved my creativity skills, especially since we learned effective ways to collaborate over Zoom.
