INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
Mayo Clinic. I was a laboratory genetics and genomics research intern in a hematologic malignancy lab which focused specifically on multiple myeloma. I got hands-on experience working in a lab and was exposed to numerous techniques and the environment of a research career. It also provided me with a formal research experience which refined my interests.
HOBBIES:
Hiking, reading, and spending time with my Australian Shepherd.
