INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
Mayo Clinic.
I worked as a User Experience designer and AI-Engineering intern at the Mayo Clinic's Knowledge and Evaluation Research Unit.
Additionally here at Carleton, I was a Program and Community Assistant, which is a fancy way of saying that I was a camp counselor for Carleton's Summer Liberal Arts Institute, which includes hosting events for the pre-college students to go to and overseeing 18 of them on my residential floor. I got to meet so many great new people I never ran into at Carleton during the school year! It was also great to help foster an amazing environment for the pre-college students through event organizing.
MY INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES ENHANCED MY EXPERIENCE AS A CARLETON STUDENT-ATHLETE BECAUSE…
The experience with Mayo Clinic reaffirmed that I want to work in the intersection between the humanities and technology - specifically on the front end.
