Alec Holcomb

Alec Holcomb is in his first year at the helm of the Carleton baseball program.
 
He previously served as performance director at Velocity Baseball, a role that he began in 2020. He was also a head coach within the Rochester (Minn.) Pines club baseball program.
 
Holcomb pitched two years at North Dakota State University (NCAA Division I) before concluding his collegiate career with a season on the mound for Concordia-St Paul (NCAA Division II). In his debut season at NDSU, he tied for second among newcomers to the Bison roster with 12 games pitched. During his year at CSP, he led the Bears in saves (5) and tied for the team lead in appearances (13). Holcomb owned a career 9.1 K/9 ratio while holding opponents to a .267 batting average.
 
Holcomb earned a sport management degree from NDSU and is pursuing a master’s degree in coaching and athletic administration from Concordia-St. Paul.
