COLD SPRING, Minn. – The No. 17-ranked Carleton College women's cross country team cruised to victory at the Toni St. Pierre Invitational as the Knights put all five scorers inside the top 10 at the eight-team meet.
 
Carleton posted a team score of 26.
 
The dozen Knights to race at the meet all come from the first-year and sophomore classes.
 
Sophomore Amelia Campbell finished second overall with a time of 22:17.5 and was followed by classmate Lauren Tittel at 22:21.7. Rookie Abigail Burns took fourth place overall, as she finished in 22:36.6.
 
Sophomores Nicole Peterson and Nina Peterson finished eighth and ninth, respectively, with times of 22:56.2 and 23:04.1.
 
Sophomore Louise Ruzanic was the next Knight across the line, covering the six-kilometer course in 23:08.9 to placed 11th overall. First-year Liv Fraser took 24th place with a time of 23:54.3.
 
Up Next for the Knights
Carleton will host the Running of the Cows, this year's Pre-National meet on Saturday, Oct. 3. There will be two women's races, with the maize division competing at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Navy Championship Division at 11:00 a.m.
