Sydney Trentman tossed a three-hit shutout and Emily Vogel belted a two-run home run to account for all of the scoring.

For Trentman (2-0), this was her 14th career complete game and sixth career shutout. She collected seven strikeouts against only one walk. Trentman fanned the side in the third and fourth innings and permitted only one runner past second base.

Jade Thach drew a walk to start the bottom of the second inning, and Vogel followed with her first collegiate long ball, sending a drive over the left-field wall.

The Knights (2-2) were limited to only four hits in the contest, but three of those went for extra bases. In addition to Vogel's homer, Esme Song smacked a one-out double in the first and Adriana Wiggins tripled in the third inning.
