NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Carleton College wide receiver
Tyler Dimond was selected to the D3football.com national Team of the Week.
This is the senior's second career appearance on the Team of the Week, which is D3football.com's honor roll for recognizing the top performance at each position from the previous week. This is the 34th time that a Carleton player has earned this recognition.
Dimond had 7 catches for 181 yards and a touchdown in Carleton's 35-28 win over St. Olaf that allowed the Knights to reclaim the Goat Trophy. He averaged 25.9 yards per reception with five catches over 20 yards, including a 40-yard touchdown that gave Carleton a lead it would not relinquish. Dimond did all of his damage in the first half before missing the second half due to an injury.
The Knights travel to Gustavus Adolphus College for a 1:00 p.m. kickoff on Saturday, Oct. 4.
