NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Carleton College women's tennis team picked up its second win in as many days as the Knights opened conference play with a 7-0 sweep of Concordia College-Moorhead.

Algara Dineva,
Giana Marks,
Kiley Pickens, and
Varinn Sood each notched victories in both singles and doubles play.
Marks and
Kat Smiricinschi posted a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles, with Sood and Cilella adding a 6-2 victory at the second slot. Pickens and Dineva blank their opponents at No. 3 doubles, 6-0.
In solo play, Marks quickly registered a 6-0, 6-0 victory atop the lineup. Pickens contributed a 6-3, 6-0 triumph at No. 2 singles.
Peggy Fu cruised to her first collegiate win, prevailing 6-1, 6-1 at the third slot, while Dineva recorded a 6-1, 6-3 victory at the No. 4 singles.
Both Cilella and Sood dropped only one game in their singles matches. Cilella prevailed 6-1, 6-0 at the fifth slot, while Sood notched a 6-0, 6-1 win at the sixth spot.
