BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Carleton College goalkeeper
Avery Trapp was selected as MIAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the opening week of the 2025 campaign. This is her third career conference weekly honor.
Trapp went 1-0-1 with a 1.00 goals against average. She registered five saves as Carleton earned a 1-1 draw with No. 5-ranked Johns Hopkins University in the season opener on Aug. 30 and added another route-going effort the following morning as the Knights notched a 5-1 win over Carthage College.
The Knights are next in action on Friday, Sept. 5 when they host Hope College in a non-conference clash at 12:00 p.m.
