BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – The Carleton College Men's Tennis team is well represented as the MIAC revealed its annual awards for the 2022-2023 season. A half-dozen Knights garnered 12 total honors, including nine All-MIAC awards, two All-Playoff awards, and the MIAC Singles Player of the Year Award for sophomore Tarm Rojanasoonthon (Bangkok, Thailand/Chulalongkorn).
 
The All-MIAC teams are selected based on performance during conference dual matches, with the top 18 players (including ties) recognized for both singles and doubles. A player must play in five conference matches at any position to be eligible for the honor.
 
The Knights finished the season with an 18-4 record, with two of those setbacks coming against national top-15 opponents. In MIAC play, the Knights earned a record of 48-6 (.889) in singles, and 23-4 (.852) in doubles, with an overall record of 120-38 (.759) in singles, and 57-22 (.722) in doubles.
 
In addition to his MIAC Singles Player of the Year honor, Rojanasoonthon was selected for the All-MIAC Singles Team for the second straight year. In solo play, he owns a 20-3 record overall, including 6-0 in conference play. He was also named to the All-Conference Doubles Team, going 15-7 overall (5-1 MIAC), including 12-7 with playing partner Tate Fuller (So./Seattle, Wash./Lakeside).
 
Junior Yuv Kataria (Kolkata, India/Weil Academy & College Prep) was named to the All-MIAC Singles and Doubles Teams for the third straight year. Kataria posted a 12-5 record in singles play overall and a 6-1 mark in conference matches. In doubles action, he registered a combined 15-4 record alongside three different playing partners, including a 6-1 mark in MIAC matches.
 
Fuller was also named to the All-MIAC Singles and Doubles Teams. He concluded the year with a record of 13-5 in singles play, 4-1 in conference action. Partnering with Rojanasoonthon, he earned a doubles record of 10-6, 4-1 versus MIAC foes.
 
First-year Cooper Kline (Los Angeles, Calif./The Buckley School) was the fourth Knight named to the All-Conference Singles Team. He owned a 16-5 record in solo play and was 6-1 versus conference opponents.
 
Senior Ozzie Viswanathan (Lincolnshire, Ill./Adlai E. Stevenson) and first-year Zach Leslie (Minneapolis, Minn./Washburn) were both named to the All-MIAC Doubles Team. For Viswanathan. This was his third all-conference award for doubles as he owned a combined 17-6 mark alongside four playing partners, with a 7-1 ledger in MIAC matches. Leslie went 15-8 overall in doubles play, with a 6-2 mark against MIAC competition.
 
Rojanasoonthon and Kataria were also selected to the MIAC's All-Playoff Team in recognition of their efforts during the postseason.
