NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Carleton College men's soccer team returned to the United Soccer Coaches' (USC) national rankings this week at No. 22. The Knights continue to be ranked No. 2 in the region.
 
The team is off to a 5-2-2 start this year and is tied for second in the league standings, putting the squad in position to extend the Knights' conference record of 14 consecutive MIAC Playoff appearances.
 
The Knights defense continues to be a strength as the squad has allowed no more than one goal in any game this season. Offensively, All-American Marco da Cunha (Sr./San Francisco, Calif./San Francisco University) paces Carleton with 4 goals this season, with Tonny Aton (Sr./Nairobi, Kenya/Lukenya) and Tarek Bos-Shadi (Sr./Kankakee, Ill./Bradley Bourbonnais) scoring three times apiece.
