The PEAR Department is taking this opportunity to recognize and celebrate the seniors on our spring sports teams. While we are sad that we were unable to watch them compete this season, we are excited about what the future holds for each of them. Keep checking back in the coming weeks as we take the time to highlight each of these individuals. Click here for our Senior Spotlight archive.

Statistics
Â
What are your plans after graduation?    Â
Working as a IT analyst/consultant
Â
What was your favorite sports moment at Carleton?     Â
Playing at Nationals for three consecutive years with my teammates. Being down in Florida/Houston to play was nerve racking, but it was exciting and it was an honor to be able to play for my team and the school.
Â
Why did you choose Carleton?     Â
The cooperative and supportive environment with friendly processors, and also my team!
Â
Outside of athletics, what will you miss most about Carleton? Â
The tight knit community I had at Carleton.
Â
What else has your Carleton experience included?        Â
Being on the student athletic advisory committee, playing hockey (sophomore and junior years), and participating and helping out in Japanese Circle events.
Â
What is one piece of advice you would give to prospective student-athletes? Â Â
The rigorous academics and playing a sport is hard but fun! There are a lot of help on campus such as prefect sessions, professor's office hours, and tutors; make good use of them!
Â
What is a favorite memory you have of your head coach?
My favorite memory of my coach is at MIACs and his positive energy on the course. It was a pleasure to play on this team with my teammates and for Coach Matt.

Quote from Coach Matt Stangl:
"Alyssa had arguably the best Carleton and MIAC women's golf season ever. She has made her mark on Division III women's golf and has earned her place in history as one of the best. What a season, what a career!"
