Abby Loe (Jr./Apple Valley, Minn.) tallied a team-best nine kills, but the Carleton Knight volleyball team absorbed a three-set loss to No. 14-ranked Augsburg University Wednesday evening (25-12, 25-11, 25-15).
Carleton registered and 82-76 advantage in attack opportunities during the match, but the Knights were done in by 24 attack errors, compared to just seven for the Auggies (11-2, 2-0 MIAC).
Inger Shelton (So./San Diego, Calif./La Jolla) notched a team-high 15 assists, while
Tegan Carlson (So./Benton City, Wash./Kona-Benton City) led the Knights with nine digs.
Grace Leuchtenberger (Jr./Newton, Mass./Newton South) added six kills and an ace.
Kayla Gjerde led Augsburg with 11 kills.
