NORTHFIELD, Minn. –  The Carleton volleyball team played host to the University of Wisconsin-River Falls Saturday afternoon, falling to the Falcons 3-0 (25-21, 25-14, 25-18).

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST UW-RIVER FALLS:
- Carleton dropped the match in three sets, 0-3 (25-21, 25-14, 25-18).
- Offensively, Carleton hit .141 overall with 26 kills in 92 attempts.
- The Knights recorded five total blocks, compared to four for the Falcons.
- Abby Loe (Jr./Apple Valley, Minn./Apple Valley) tallied a team-high 12 kills and hit .257. Â
- Olivia Powell (Sr./Palos Verdes, Calif./Chadwick) added four kills and four blocks.
- Inger Shelton (So./San Diego, Calif./La Jolla) led the Knights with 17 assists and an ace.
- Grace Leuchtenberger (Jr./Newton, Mass./Newton South) and Naiya Karl (Fy./Fargo, N.D./South) chipped in with two aces apiece.
THE OPPOSITION:
- As a team, UW-River Falls hit .297 with 44 kills. The Falcons also claimed a 10-5 advantage in aces.
- Dakotah Poitra (Sr./Belle Plaine, Minn.) tallied 12 kills and hit .233
- Two-time WIAC All-Defensive Team representative Hannah Robb (Sr./Medford, Minn./Bethlehem Academy led the Falcons with 13 digs.
