I wanted a place where I would be pushed to grow as a lifelong learner, as well as a person. I wanted to learn how to use my passions to beneficially contribute to society.

INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
Carleton College Biochemistry Research, River Valley Church internship - - Carleton: Research in a biochemistry lab, in which I did PCR and cloning research to determine characteristics of a Ly-6 family protein. At River Valley Church, I was a Worship Leading Intern, where I learned vital leadership skills as well as how to make my faith a part of my everyday life.
 
MY OFF-CAMPUS STUDY PROGRAM ENHANCED MY EXPERIENCE AS A CARLETON STUDENT-ATHLETE BECAUSE…
Both experiences allowed me to explore uncharted waters, learn about myself, and make new connections. This has allowed me to feel a deeper connection with my Carleton community and to have confidence in my studies and future professional endeavors.
