INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
University of Minnesota - Department of Pediatrics. I conducted research on the human upper respiratory microbiome using culturomics and direct sequencing techniques and participated in a shadowing opportunity with the Infectious Diseases team at the children's hospital.

I gained hands-on research experience in a large university setting, direct inpatient healthcare experience, and knowledge of concepts in virology, immunology, and microbiology.
