It brought me perspective and experience I've never had before. I explored other ways to train without track and field equipment, like joining a kickboxing team in Madrid.
INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
Industrial Areas Foundation – Northwest - I worked on a large decolonization project that consisted of a training plan and accompanying materials. I also assisted the Climate Action Team and the Antiracism Action Team.
