POST-CARLETON GOAL(S)…
After Carleton, I plan to attend medical school and eventually pursue a career as a sports medicine/orthopedics physician.

I CHOSE TO COME TO CARLETON BECAUSE…
I chose Carleton because of its academic prowess, exceptional undergraduate teaching, the welcoming community, and of course an impressive and kind women's tennis team! It's hard to find anywhere that allows you to balance academics, athletics, and fun so seamlessly.

WHAT I MOST LIKE ABOUT CARLETON IS…
What I like most about Carleton is all its fun traditions: with Friday Flowers, Midwinter Ball, Date Knight, Rotblatt, Sproncert, and the Triathlon, there's always something to look forward to!

OFF-CAMPUS STUDY PROGRAM(S) PARTICIPATED IN AT CARLETON:
College Year in Athens (CYA)

MY OFF-CAMPUS STUDY PROGRAM ENHANCED MY EXPERIENCE AS A CARLETON STUDENT-ATHLETE BECAUSE…
While I was unable to play much tennis in Athens, Greece, I was able to pursue another passion of mine: running! On my OCS, I ran the Athens Authentic Marathon, allowing me to stay fit for my upcoming season while also allowing me to view athletics and movement outside of my sport!

INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
During my research internship at the Mayo Clinic, I worked in vivo to study the impact of CD8+ T cells on the blood-brain barrier and its connection to neurodegenerative diseases.

MY INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES ENHANCED MY EXPERIENCE AS A CARLETON STUDENT-ATHLETE BECAUSE…
This enhanced my experience at Carleton by providing me the opportunity to put all I've learned into action to form a fuller understanding of biology in real time.

HOBBIES:
My hobbies include obviously playing tennis, but also running, biking, hiking, reading, baking, and trying new things!

PERSON(S) WHO HAD THE MOST INFLUENCE ON MY ATHLETIC CAREER:
My parents and high school coaches Ben Maes and Steve Tacl

HISTORICAL FIGURE(S) I’D MOST LIKE TO MEET:
