I CHOSE TO COME TO CARLETON BECAUSE…
I felt really welcomed by the tight knit community. I wanted an environment where I know I would be both supported and challenged, and I have definitely found that at Carleton.
 
WHAT I MOST LIKE ABOUT CARLETON IS…
The swim team environment has been a huge part of my Carleton experience. I am so grateful to have met the people on the team and to be able to share this experience with them.
 
INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
At Joele Frank I supported teams in assisting various publicly traded companies in developing communication materials to address market moving events. I gained exposure to M&A, bankruptcy, shareholder activism, IPOs, investor relations, and leadership changes, among others. Among other projects, I also compiled daily media clips for internal and client awareness. As an intern in the Fisher Investments Private Client Group - International, I supported the Investment Counselors on the UK and Canada teams. I assisted investment counselors in reassessing their clients' goals and recommendations, ensuring smooth asset transfer processes by obtaining access to client account information and chasing money transfers, reviewing account balances and topping off accounts to cover fees. My internship experiences have given me the opportunity to apply my learning and develop more technical skills in a professional environment.
