At Rutgers University I was awarded an REU (research experience for undergraduates) in marine science and I conducted my own independent research project.
MY INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES ENHANCED MY EXPERIENCE AS A CARLETON STUDENT-ATHLETE BECAUSE…
This experience allowed me to grow as a scientist and it also confirmed my wish to attend graduate school after Carleton. I also expanded my network of like minded people outside of Carleton. I know have a passion for oceanography and marine science!
