After graduation, I hope to start my career in finance, ideally in a role where I can build strong analytical skills while also learning how to work with clients and understand real businesses. I'm especially excited by opportunities that are collaborative, fast-paced, and give me exposure to different industries, so I can keep growing technically while also becoming a stronger teammate and leader.

My Carleton swim coaches, Brooke and Andy, 100% supported my decision to take a term off of swimming to explore countries I've never been before and learn from the local people. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Bali. When coming back, I was just as enthused about reuniting with my teammates and training hard once again to contribute to our team's success. Both swimming and studying abroad taught me how to be present and invested in the people around me no matter where I am.

During my internship at JPMorganChase, I worked as a Commercial Banking Summer Analyst, where I supported financial analysis, helped prepare client materials, and learned how banking teams support businesses across different industries.

My Carleton liberal arts education and my internship strengthened each other. At the same time, my JPMorganChase experience showed me how valuable those skills are in a real finance setting.
