INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
Rochester Downtown Alliance and the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance. I was an events planning and marketing intern at the Rochester Downtown Alliance (RDA) and a marketing and communications intern at the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MOCA). My job at the RDA consisted of ensuring that vendors and bands at Rochester's large street festival, Thursdays Downtown, were well-attended to. I also assisted with communicating logistic details with vendors and performers. At my internship at MOCA, I helped re-start their Tie it Teal program and created various communication mediums such as blog posts, social media posts, videos, and emails.
 
MY INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES ENHANCED MY EXPERIENCE AS A CARLETON STUDENT-ATHLETE BECAUSE…
These experiences allowed me to gain real-world work experience. They helped me discover what I really like within these career-fields and what type of internship I would like to pursue next summer.
