OFF-CAMPUS STUDY OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
It was an incredible opportunity to study abroad in New Zealand, learning in the field and appreciating nature from coastlines to mountains to bogs!
INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
I was a NSF REU for Sustainable Land and Water Resources. I worked with the Manoomin project at the University of Minnesota and conducted research on sediment cores in order to better understand human (colonizer) impacts on lakes and how that in turn affects wild rice. It taught me that I enjoy and appreciate community based participatory research!
HOBBIES:
Bouldering, making earrings and art (sketching, printmaking), hiking, and reading
