Sebastian Burset joined the Knights coaching staff in 2022. A native of Argentina, he graduated from the University of Illinois (NCAA Division I) where he was a student assistant for the women’s soccer program. He remained at his alma mater and earned his master’s degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies in 2011. Having previous served as director of player development for the Northfield (Minn.) Soccer Association, he spent two years coaching the ninth-grade girls team at Northfield High School and was later hired as head coach for the girls varsity squad in 2019. Burset currently works as the cultural liaison for Northfield Middle School and the Area Learning Center, serving as a link between the schools and Spanish-speaking families within the community.
