Spending time in the arb, learning new things, and hanging out with my friends

OFF-CAMPUS STUDY OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
Traveling to Ethiopia to research Climate Change and Human Health changed my perspective of my own opportunities in education and athletics, especially as a female. My experience abroad piqued my interest in Global Public Health.
 
INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
I served as a research assistant for Objective Health and helped monitor patients undergoing clinical trials for NASH (a type of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease). I gained valuable experience interacting with patients in a clinical setting and gained a greater understanding of the process of drug development.
