INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
Mayo Clinic, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and King County Medical Society. I worked at the Mayo Clinic SURF Program, MD Anderson Cancer Center CPRIT-CURE Summer Undergraduate Program, and King County Medical Society. During my experience at Mayo Clinic, I worked in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology department as part of the Zhu Lab. I had the opportunity to study novel immunotherapy approaches to treating neuroblastoma and to shadow physicians. During my research experience at MD Anderson Cancer Center, I worked in the Immunology department as part of the Watowich Lab. I had the opportunity to study dendritic cells and their activation in different conditions. During my internship at King County Medical Center, I worked on multiple research projects related to public health.

These experiences have allowed me to explore and develop my passion for research and have sparked my curiosity in multiple fields. They have played a large in shaping my post-Carleton goals.
