I want to attend graduate school in materials chemistry and further the field in green energy applications.
 
I CHOSE TO COME TO CARLETON BECAUSE…
I was impressed by the wealth and variety of opportunities for undergraduates.
 
WHAT I MOST LIKE ABOUT CARLETON IS…
I like the strong sense of community, and the ability to be academically ambitious without it feeling like a competition against my classmates.
 
INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
In the Carleton Chemistry Department, I worked with another student to develop a lab process for creating and processing perovskite solar cells.

Also,  University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where  I conducted research on self-healing polymers, focusing on the encapsulation of ferric ions, for a civil engineering application.
 
HOBBIES:
I nordic ski, play the bass guitar, go camping, and learn about bogs and lichens.
