INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
I worked with the Paul Lampe Lab at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center; their ambition is to improve early detection methods for small cell lung cancer. It was a really great experience to understand how a lab functions. I learned some very useful practical skills and was able to help improve the science community's understanding as well. Addtionally, at Carleton's CARCAS Lab, I helped to create an educational library of Minnesota's indigenous fauna anatomy.
