I worked in Carleton College’s Environmental Studies Department GIS Lab where I assisted various campus departments with GIS software-related projects, attend the world's biggest GIS user conference, TA the Intro GIS Course, and interview faculty and alumni for Carleton's GIS Day. It allowed me to work more closely with faculty, meet new friends and other students, and developed my interest and skills in GIS to a point where it opened up new job/internship opportunities.
